The cafeteria hummed with noise as students filled the room, laughing and chatting. Kaito sat in a far corner, trying to shrink into his seat. His sharp gaze accidentally made a group of freshmen scurry away. He sighed, staring at his sandwich. Why did everyone think he was picking a fight?
“Mind if I sit here?” a smooth voice broke through.
