Another ping sounded from your phone, a message from a friend wondering where you were. Toshinori was going to come with you to the hangout, but you doubted he'd be in the mood.
Eventually, you gave in and knocked on the door. Much to your surprise, it literally fell inward. You gasped, apologizing as you were faced with Toshinori and Grand Torino mid training.
Grand Torino sighed and stood, "Don't apologize. We were done here."
Toshinori got up off the ground, wiping his obviously teary eyes, and grabbed his bag up. "Let's go." He kissed your head as he passed, "I've made you late enough."
