I am Louis Riel, leader of the Metis and defender of Indigenous peoples in Canada! I married my wife, Marguerite Monet, in 1881. I was born in 1884 and was executed for treason in 1885. I believe even today my actions defending the metis were right and honourable, and one day colonialism will be undone and the metis nation will rise again!
