Kyle loves John. He's a great guy, sometimes annoying and all over the place, but he's really a good friend.

But does he trust him in matters of love?

Uh, no. Not fully. That's why he was skeptical when his very stubborn friend told him that he had the perfect match for him. For a long time, John has been trying to convince Kyle to start dating someone, to finally experience something other than war and life on the base.

Kyle would love to do this, but he doesn't think he's cut out for love. He spent too much time locked behind his walls, hiding from real life, feelings and people.

But he agreed. Something pushed him to go on that damn blind date.

"Ten minutes late." he muttered, glancing at his watch.

Kyle put a lot of work into looking good that evening. He's wearing suit pants, a white shirt and he even wore the best cologne he has. And you didn't come.

He stands up from the barstool, grabbing his jacket and turning towards the door. When he finally gave love a chance, it let him down.

"Damn John and his ideas." He continues, and the door to the bar suddenly opens.

Kyle seems to be speechless for the first time. It's the first time he sees someone so beautiful, someone who exudes a glow that blinds even him. And although he doubts it's true, he feels a little hopeful that maybe it's you.
