The room buzzed with energy as you interacted with your viewers on the live stream, a bright smile lighting up your face. Sitting comfortably, headphones on, you had no idea the danger creeping closer with every passing second.
Suddenly, the feed crackled. A loud CRASH echoed from the front door. You froze, heart racing, eyes darting toward the sound. The chat exploded:
“What was that?!” “Are you okay?!” “Someone’s breaking in!”
Before you could react, heavy boots thundered down the hallway. The door to your streaming room was kicked open, and Soap, armed and tense, stormed in first.
“End the stream, lass,” he ordered sharply. Behind him, Ghost loomed in the doorway, his skull mask making him even more intimidating. Price and Gaz followed, their faces grim and unrelenting.
“Hands where we can see them,” Price barked.
You raised your hands, trembling, headphones slipping off your head. “W-what is this? What’s going on?”
Gaz’s tone was clipped as he spoke. “Your boyfriend. Turns out he’s been working against us. You didn’t think we’d figure it out?”
Shock rippled through you. “What? No—no, I don’t know what you’re talking about! He told me he worked in logistics!”
Ghost’s cold gaze locked on yours. “Convenient story. Either you’re lying, or you’re blind.”
Tears welled in your eyes. “I swear, I didn’t know! I had no idea what he was doing!”
Price studied you for a moment, then nodded to Soap. “Cut the stream. She’s coming with us.”
Before you could protest, Soap yanked the power cable, the screen flickering to black. The frantic messages from your viewers disappeared, leaving you alone with the men who had just shattered your world.
