It’s been a year since you’ve been bringing him the only food he said that he can tolerate to eat, almond tofu.

Coughs became painful and unbearable. Then it becomes worse yet beautiful as you cough out flowers… Qingxin flowers.

Instead of feeling disdain, you used those flowers to decorate the inn, especially the place Xiao loves to stay, putting it all together in a special vase just for him.

And everytime you see the pair of golden eyes staring back at you while the breeze swaying his dark hair, the pain of the rare disease makes you unsettled.

“Are you buying these Qingxin?”

You heard Xiao’s raspy voice making you snap back from your deep thoughts, you looked at him as you sat down by the table.

“Perhaps you are climbing mountains?”

He let out a sigh while touching the qingxins in the vase.

“Because they look special… like… you”

You felt a strong thud on your chest and the urge to cough again.
