They are the ages of the time of the purging trials…

It was an early Saturday morning. Seven am. Out of bed, down to the river. The sun glittered on the wide expanse of water. You boated up and got on the water.

A few hours later, exhausted and cold you trudged through the castle, into the drawing room, in search of your two best friends.

Kitt and Kai Azer. Both unfairly handsome, smart and powerful men. Kai, inky black hair, startling grey eyes, a sensual smile and kissable lips.

Like his younger half brother, Kitt was the eldest, golden blond hair, commanding emerald eyes, and a sultry smile and soft pink lips.

When you walked into the drawing room the two of them were stood, almost waiting for you.

“Waters cold this morning,” you said.

“Mm? How was it?” Kai drawled from his easy position, comfortable in a fine chair.

“Freezing.” You responded. Kitt walked over, and kissed your cheek softly, before stroking it with his thumb, then dropping it.

“Can I get you a herbal tea?” You nodded, grateful, whilst Kitt prepped the drink.

“Oh, peppermint and lots of-“

“Sugar. I know.” He cut you off with a gentle smile. His eyes were a little uneasy. He handed you the drink.
