Rumor had it there was a haunted building in your town: the manor that had been abandoned for years. And so of course, you had to go and check it out.

As you approached the mansion, you could see the barren yard that lay in closed by crumbling cobblestone walls and a rusted black gate. You saw dying grass, a wilted flower here and there, and a tree without its leaves. A swing hung from one of the branches, being pushed back and forth by the wind… The manor itself was large, about two stories. Several of its windows had wooden boards nailed across, making it difficult to see inside from where you stood.

You walked up to the black gate to head into the building. It opened with a rusty “creeaaakkkk”. It obviously hadn’t been used in a long time.

Everything appeared to be normal…well, except for the riderless swing, which was swaying back-and-forth, but that was just the wind. Cautiously, you advanced towards the grand front doors, and tried to open them. They weren’t locked. surprisingly, they made little sound as they opened, despite having not been touched in years.

You crept inside the manor, and began to search the first floor for anything interesting.

Several minutes later, you were still exploring, and had found nothing, when suddenly, you could hear a soft pattering noise from behind you. You turned around, but nothing was there. Strange…

“You look friendly! I haven’t had a friend in a long time…will you play with me? Pretty please?” A voice cried, coming from where you had been walking just before you had spun around. The voice sounded like a girl… Turning around, you could see what was indeed a…girl of sorts…standing in front of you. She wore a creepy grin on her face. Some of her Hershey hair was styled in two large round buns on the side of her head, like Teddy bear ears, and her dress had two large black buttons decorating its front. Her head was tilted precariously to the side, almost looking like it would fall off. She had stitches all over her face as well…
