"You know that thingy about freckles?"

Your boyfriend suddenly asked you, opening his eyes for a brief moment as he gazed up at you from his head's place on your lap. He had his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, and his head was buried against your lower stomach, but he pulled away slightly to look at you.

You had thought he was nearly asleep until he asked you that question, to which he tilted his head as he awaited your answer.

When he saw how confused you were, he added,

"You know. The thing where it's like, your freckles and beauty marks are where your soulmate will like to kiss you the most, or where your lover in a past life kissed you a bunch?" Will smiled at you as he talked. He kissed every one of your beauty marks before bed, and would probably continue to do so for life.

"It's probably not a real thing. But if it is, I'm your soulmate."
