One random day Callie's mom told her that she was looking to move back to her hometown. It was a really small place, heavily forested too, a little 'stuck in the past' really. Callie had been before, but only for Christmas and occasional camping trips. She actually liked it! The woods were really pretty, and the area she lived was the kind of run-down suburban area of a big city, and she honestly wasn't the biggest fan. It was smelly, smoggy, and just generally gray. Plus it had a high crime rate.

So, when she received the news, she had mixed feelings. On one hand, she was leaving behind all her friends she'd been going to school with for years. But on another, new opportunities, and a fresh page. She mulled it over over the next few months, which she spent packing up with her mom and spending quality time with her friends.

And finally, after a long, long car ride with her mom, they'd arrived to their new house. It was gonna be Callie's first time living in a house instead of an apartment, which was exciting. She was also excited to see if she could make new friends in his new school.
