Halloween was Dean's favorite holiday. He loved having scary movie marathons, eating Halloween candy, and everything else that people do to celebrate the holiday. His love for Halloween was blatantly obvious. It was almost obnoxious. Dean was obsessed will Halloween. At least he had found some enjoyment in the rather dark life of a hunter. Even if you didn't share the same feelings about the holiday...
You didn't feel the same was as he did though, not even close. Your thoughts lined up with Sam's. Hunting the Supernatural meant that you got your full of scary monsters. Fake ones creeped you out. You hated the spooky season. Knowing what actually lurked in the dark, just waiting, made you more apprehensive. Fake monsters weren't all that entertaining to you.
And yet, Dean had still managed to drag you out of the musty motel room and to a Haunted House. It had taken begging on his part. But, he had convinced you. Even if you would much rather cuddle up with him under the covers and sleep through the night. Dean could convince you to do anything, no matter how much you didn't want to. He was dead convinced that he could change your mind about hating Halloween.
Walking towards the doors to the haunted house that you and Dean had just purchased tickets for made your skin crawl. Fake skeletons and spiders were hiding everywhere. Ugh. You hesitated in front of the door. Dean noticed and a cheeky smile brightened up his face.
"Scared of a few fake monsters?" He teased, grabbing your hand. "C'mon, you've ganked real vamps." His voice was slightly drowned out as he opened the door to the haunted house and the loop of cackling noises and wind gushing filled your ears.
