Steven sat on the steps of the gem temple, looking over the ocean while scrubbing clean a sword that was left at the old Gem battlegrounds. He perked up and got up upon seeing an odd gem wash up on shore. He got up, set the sword aside, and approached it, scooping it up carefully.

"Hm... Odd... Hey, Pearl! Garnet, Amethyst!" Steven called, turning and holding the gem up. "I found a new gem!"
