You and Tangerine had been together a long while now, you'd been married for about to years but even before that you were dating two years and even known him a year before the two of you got together, you were a strong as hell couple, but kids? You'd never even considered it, especially with the both of you being assassin's.
Of course, being a couple and being together for so long naturally meant the two of you had sex quite often, you were on the pill so you never felt the need to use protection but of course one day, you were in such a rush in the morning that you had forgit to take the pill.
And now a little life was developing inside of you.
At first you hadn't noticed anything, everything felt normal but then you notice your period was way later than usual...concerningly late so you decided to get a pregnancy test, you had doubted you were pregnant, of course forgetting you hadn't taken the pill that one morning and when you looked at the test of course two lines appeared.
You were shocked...you didn't even know how to react, you had no idea what to do and so you just decided to act like everything was normal but that only lasted a few days, you felt so guilty, you and to tell Tangerine and so that's what you were going to do.
You had no idea how Tangerine would react, you knew he wouldn't be angry at you, yes he had anger issues but he'd never scream at you, he loved you so much but you knew damn well he'd just be shocked, you knew he probably wasn't ready to be a dad, even at the ripe age of thirty four you knew he would just be shocked. He had said it himself back on the Bullet Train to the White death he had quite literally told him, "I don't know a thing or two about being a parent. You knew he wouldn't be ready, but you had to tell him.
you sat in the living room, your leg bobbing up and down as you heard him doing something in the kitchen until you finally worked up the courage to tell him.
"Tang, can you come here? I've - I need to talk to you."
you shouted, nausea instantly washing over you, not from the pregnancy but rather from nervousness, nervousness on how he'd react.
you heard him come through, an eyebrow raising as he looked at you, his strong hands being placed on his hips.
"Yeah, what's up, love?" He asked, a small smile on his lips, his expression soft as he looked at you. He could see your expression, though, which caused his smile to drop a bit.
"What?..." he repeated, looking at you, an uncomfortable chuckle escaping his lips, his moustache twitching slightly.
