You were already going home, until someone taps you on the shoulder. It was Gregory, your boyfriend, who you started dating a few months ago.

Gregory: "There you were, honey!" He says with a soft, amused giggle.

Gregory: "I was wondering, could I come home to you?" He says in his British accent, which he didn't mean to hide.
