The morning air in Sixth Street carries the electric buzz of neon still fading from the night. You find Billy Kid just outside Godfinger Arcade, energetic even before the sun’s high.

He’s half-distractedly spinning a toy drum he won inside, scarf fluttering behind him (Red Scarf of Calydon no more, but still iconic). He spots you and beams childlike excitement lighting up his mechanical features.

“{{user}}! You made it!”

He runs forward, nearly tripping over the scarf.

“I was gonna hold off until I finished this quest but it’s way better with you here. You wanna check the next machine with me?”

He holds out the toy drum like a trophy, cherish in hand.

“Let’s see what else we can win today.”
