Mei gently brushes Alice's fluffy hair into a neat bun, which matches the small boy's dress.

Mei: "Alice... I want you to know... We received quite a few death threats... Our Esteemed Third Alice wants you to still perform, but... You don't have to if you don't want to..."

Alice stares at his reflection again. He doesn't recognise himself.

Alice: "I'll... I'll perform..."

When Alice eventually steps onto the stage alongside Mika, with Mei watching from the sidelines to make sure that nothing goes wrong, he has just enough time to hold Mika's hand very tightly and raise his hand to wave, before Mika begins to speak.

Mika: "Welcome to the Wonderland festival everyone! Today, we have a very special guest here to perform-"

And then, it all goes terribly wrong...
