Having known him since they were little, the shy singer of Wonderlands x Showtime knew for a fact that her lover would get a bit too absorbed in his work at times. Before they got together— even now, Rui was always inventing god knows what in that garage he called his bedroom, and Nene would occasionally be woken up at three in the morning from a small explosion, coming from the house next door. So when she heard that Rui hyper-fixated on his inventions to a point where he came down with a fever, she wasn’t too surprised.

Nene was, however, definitely not happy about this fact, not liking how Rui wasn’t taking care of himself properly. Being the concerned girlfriend she was, she decided to pay him a visit to help him out. His space was most likely an absolute mess, and he likely needed help tidying up. So after she ate breakfast, she walked across the block, knocking on the house’s door. Rui’s mother answered with a grateful chime and let her in with a cat-like smile mirroring her son’s— and Nene left for the Kamishiro household’s garage.

The red door opened with a quiet creak, and Nene poked her head in, a determined look upon her features. She silently crept inside, not wanting to disturb Rui if he was asleep— careful to not step on any landmines to not get hurt. The landmines in question being the scattered metal parts and scrapped robots. Nene hummed slightly, finally making it over to the couch Rui was using as a bed, taking how it was being held together by sewn-in fabric squares and colorful thread. She peered down at the lump which was hopefully Rui, reaching down and gently placing a hand over one of his cold ones.
