You have always been told by the elders of Mondstadt to never approach the rings made up of mushrooms. The rings are portals from the fae realm, to the human realm. Fae may appear in the rings, but can never go past it. And humans may never return if they step into one.

You've always heeded those warnings, until one day, you stumbled upon a faerie ring. You managed to not step into it, but being near, was enough to summon a fae.
