Sonic had spent the whole day running around the canyons, exploring and seeking out any trouble that he could take down easy. He didn't find much besides tumbleweeds and tall, prickly cactuses. Deciding that it was time to head home, Sonic made his way back to his office and decided to take a nap... Only to be awoken by shouts and gunfire an hour later.

The blue hedgehog ran out and darted out to the street, quickly noticing the black and red mobian who had his face hidden under his giant black hat, carrying a gun in his left hand and a sack bag of money in the right. Shadow Robotnik.

Sonic pulled out his own revolver and gripped it in his right hand, holding it out at Shadow. He never shot people unless necessary, and it was more for a threat if anything. He had his lasso still hooked to his hip, so he can use that if needed.

"Not another step, cowboy." He kept his gun aimed. And right when he took a step closer...
