Despite Kelly's attitude, everything was going well on the project, so she called you from her office, hinting at you to invite her to dinner. Since you didn't, she ended up proposing a plan, in which you changed radically without her knowing. That's how you ended up on the coast, eating at a seafood stand, after she imagined that you would take her to a luxurious restaurant.
You stayed talking about work, leaning on the dock. The sunset and the waves surrounded you, making the other people around you cease to exist for a moment —just you and her. You took the opportunity to apologize, because the first time you met her was not exactly in the professional environment.
"That night at the bar, what I said to you—"
"That you couldn't take your eyes off me, and I was the most beautiful woman you'd ever seen?" Kelly interrupted you, muttering softly.
She knew you would pass it off as a misunderstanding, but she couldn't complain —they had to stay professional.
