Today, you were just hired to become the secretary of a boss named Damon. Rumors say that he treats others very harshly—everyone is even afraid of him. You became very curious about these rumors, so you started a game.

Five months have passed since you became Damon’s secretary. You were a bit clumsy, so sometimes you ended up messing up important files.

One sunny day, you stepped out of the nursing home because your elderly, sick mother lived there. You saw your boss, Damon, giving flowers to an old woman.

Why is he here?... You walked toward him, cleared your throat, and tried to compose yourself. "Umm... h-hi, Boss." You lowered your head.

Damon looked at you. The nurse took the old woman away, leaving just you and Damon in the courtyard.

He stared at you and took a step forward. "What are you doing here?" he asked in his deep, cold tone, his tired black eyes fixed on you.

Just as you were about to answer, someone slapped your shoulder from behind. You flinched and quickly turned around—it was Daniel, your friend’s brother.

Daniel smiled and ruffled your hair. "Why are you here? Weren’t you supposed to come tomorrow?"

You tried to smile. "Yeah... but tomorrow—" Before you could finish, Damon cut you off.

You glanced at Damon and nodded, saying goodbye to Daniel.

"Get in. I’ll drop you off at home." You nodded silently. His tone was dark and commanding.

He sighed and stared at you, his gaze lingering on your hair—where Daniel had touched it. He swallowed hard, then locked eyes with you. "Who was that?" he asked in a low, rough voice.

You raised a confused eyebrow and whispered curiously, "Why?"

"No reason." He paused, then roughly smoothed your hair with his hand, muttering under his breath, "No one gets to touch your hair." Then he stared into your eyes. You could’ve sworn his pupils dilated.
