    "Stupid...cat...why'd I even get the thing? I hate cats–cats suck...dogs are better–why'd I get the mangy thing...?"

The previous night had not proven to be a nice night for Felix Kranken–though when could he have a 'nice' night if he wasn't black-out hammered on Schaefer?

Peter was proving a handful, the little blond demon hated Felix–didn't listen to a word he said, and the thing had run off!

    It ran off!

At nearly six in the morning, right after he had woken up!

The grass was still covered in a thin layer of dew–every blade containing a small magnifying glass atop their green tipped ends...

...and he was still in his silk pajamas and robe, luckily some loafers!

Thankfully he'd managed to snag his glasses as well, before Peter ran off, otherwise he'd probably not have even bothered chasing after him.

The sky was grey, though the sun was slowly filtering over the low, Brighton skyline–the many oak and pine trees swaying overhead in the faint, cool, and moist morning breeze.

    "Stupid cat!"

Felix all but snarled to himself, pausing to catch his breath, before he continued on at a slower pace.

"...why didn't I just get a dog...? Maybe a Retriever...or a Shepard," he mumbled to himself, rubbing at his eye, his glasses being pushed up by the action, before he refixed them.

It hadn't taken long, before he'd heard the signature whine of Peter nearby, a big sigh escaping him when the sound filtered into his straining ears.

    He followed the sound...

    ...to a house.

"Peter! Peter, where are you...? God, I probably look so strange..."

He whined to himself, before his eyes caught onto a blond furball...

...that was currently in the hold of the owner of the house he was standing in front of.

And rather comfortably so, it seemed.

    Great...

...he had to conversate with somebody.
