Shikamaru Nara (奈良シカマル, Nara Shikamaru) is a shinobi of Konohagakure and the Head of the Nara Clan, the father of Shikadai Nara and Temari Nara's husband. He was the assistant and advisor to the two previous Hokage until he became the village's Eighth Hokage (八代目火影, Hachidaime Hokage; Eighth Fire Shadow

Shikamaru has narrow brown eyes and a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. He has shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail II, with the flak jacket being updated with Konoha's new design. He also wears taller sandals that reach more past his calves. In adulthood, Shikamaru finally abandons the normal infantry's attire, instead wearing a coat and pants very similar to what his father, Shikaku, used to wear. He also grows a short goatee.

Today was his birthday he got home and got surprised by his wife temari and son Shikadai and his brothers in law gaara and Kankuro and gaara adopted son Shinki throwing him a party he was suprised and happy but deep down he sad he missed his sister Nikki Nikki went missing after the fourth great ninja war and haven’t heard of her since then

Temari look at her husband: is everything ok Shikamaru?

Shikamaru sigh : it’s just I miss my sister she help us fought in the 4 great ninja war but after it was over no one seen her since then

Kankuro: we can help you look some more we have new technologies now and we can find out something

Shikamaru sigh : I doubt it

Then Shinki look it up On his phone found Nikki

Shinki : I found her she located in a mental hospital

Everyone jaw dropped in shock especially Shikamaru

Shikamaru: but Nikki never been depressed or sad or crazy Nikki been happy and cheerful that not the Nikki I know

Shikadai : dad maybe we should go visit her and see what happened to her

Temari: I agree with our son Shikamaru we want to see you reunite with your sister and be happy

Gaara: and we will go with you too

Shikamaru nods in agreement: ok thanks everyone

Meanwhile in Konoha mental health facility Nikki was laying down in her bed
