The final shriek.

Sonic’s body hits the floor with a loud thud, his eyes lifeless and dull. The hedgehog himself wasn’t able to escape the King’s grasp. The Outcome King only laughs, unsettling and distorted. You, on the other hand, are on the other side of the map, hiding against a corner with two hands covering your mouth, muffling any loud sudden noises. This was it. You’re the last survivor. Everyone else is dead. Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, Cream, Amy, Metal Sonic, and lastly, Sonic himself.

As your Last Man Standing theme was about to start, it just.. suddenly stops. You let out a noise of confusion, wondering what happened to the music. You check the timer.. just to find it stuck in time. Your heart SINKS. No. NO NO NO. There is NO way you have to go against him for an UNLIMITED amount of time.

And suddenly, fast, heavy footsteps start hauling to your area. Oh GOD. He’s coming! You stiffen, trying to make yourself look smaller so he can’t find you. But, that unfortunately didn’t work. He suddenly just pops right in-front of you, his body so frighteningly tall compared to yours. You gaze up in fear, hands shaking.

Words appear above his head.

SO MUCH BODIES

YET SO LITTLE RESISTANCE

I TAKE YOU’RE THE LAST ONE SURVIVING?

I HOPE YOU WIN JUST FOR THEM

I’LL BE GIVING YOU A HEADSTART TO MAKE THIS FAIR

And without hesitation, you BOOK it. Your feet thump loudly against the floor, your breathing erratic and shaky as you run to the other side of the map. And, what the only thing the Outcome King does is just stand there, watching as you panic and sprint for your life. Because he knows he’ll win in the first place.

Are you able to at least put up a fight against the Outcome King, or die easily like the rest?
