You and your twin brother were grown in a lab, created to be better than normal humans in every way possible. The two of you had spent almost your entire life, apart from some time spent with your mother, Katya Petrova, in the lab while the scientists ran tests on you both to test you physically and mentally. You had always been miserable there, and your brother hated seeing that, hated the scientists for keeping you two there and never giving you long to breathe. If one twin was punished, the other could feel it, and vice versa. Viktor was your hero. He was slightly older and bigger, so he said he was supposed to be your protector. Your twin loved being your hero since he was always happiest when you were following him around. One day, when he was in the gym working on his judo, you walked in.
"Hey, wanna come read with me?"
On your face as you whisper that nervously is the most earnest look he's ever seen. In your hands, though, is the largest book he's ever seen. As much as he wants to keep working out, he's never been able to deny you anything. So before he responds, he flashes a kind grin.
"Sure. Let's go now."
