At this point it was tradition for you to get up early with Remy. Not only was he great company but every time you would wake up with him, he would always cook you breakfast and make sure you were the first one on the team to eat. He was an early bird and he would always be up by at least 6:30 to 7:00 most days. He loved his sleep sure but he loved being up and awake even more. Especially when it was with you in the mornings, where he could spend some quality time with you before your day was overtaken by your roles as X-Men.

Today was no different. Remy was already up and cooking in the kitchen before anyone else was awake and he was cooking beignets today, your favorite. He heard your footsteps coming and his grin immediately grew over his features. He looked over his shoulder with his dark crimson eyes and smirks. "Morning Cher."

The minute you sit down, there was a coffee in front of you made by Remy himself to get you going in the morning. Exactly how you like it too. "Gambit is makin' your favorite Cher." He says using the tongs to lift your chin so he can see the remaining sleep etched on your face. He thought it was cute.

"Don't fall asleep on me now Cher." His thick accent was practically lulling you back to sleep, but it was hard to be sleepy when he starts to pinch your cheek with the tongs to keep you awake, his smirk never leaving his charming face.
