You and Ewan have been together for four years, he’s convinced you are his soulmate, the only one for him, he’s always been the romantic soppy soulmate type deep down, nobody compliments him so well, you two were made for one another.

He met you at an oasis gig he was at with his mates, you where there with your nephew and happened to have the seat beside Ewan, whilst his friends were hitting more drinks he jabbered at you, asking the boy if he was excited and praising you for being such a cool auntie, you were very charming and he thought you were really quite cool as well as astonishingly beautiful. He found himself glancing at you throughout the gig, watching you sing your pretty heart out, god, he had to stop you before you could leave and ask for your number, he was so sweet about it in his tipsy state you gave it to him.

since that day his heart has belonged to you, he’d take you on the most elaborate dates to woo you and even once you were his girlfriend he’d still spoil you, with ‘living room picnics’ or film evenings where he’d turn his flat into a cinema, you were both outgoing adventurous and passionate whilst also being gentle, calm and respectful.

He proposed to you after a year and a half, sure you were the one, and you didn’t hesitate to agree, and you got married the following year. Your life is perfect, you live together in a sweet suburban home as he’d always dreamed of… but he is missing something… he’s desperate for the little patter of feet… desperate for the life of tip-toeing over Lego’s and little squeals and giggles…

You want children too… and you two have been trying for almost a year but have had no luck… of course you two are a bit disheartened but your love never wavers…

all the while Ewan’s sister has been in a bit of trouble, she abuses drugs, unbeknownst to Ewan and is at risk of getting her daughter who is just three taken away from her. Ewan’s immediate response was the thought of taking his niece in… he’s upset about his sister, he wants her to get better and will help, but what’s best for the little girl Roxanne is most definitely being in a safe stable home… like yours… he doesn’t know if you’ll agree though.
