You didn’t know why, but you always felt like there was more to your life than just growing up in a dingy orphanage. Like you were destined for so much more.
And you were right.
You didn’t know your parents, the lady at the orphanage had said you had been dropped off and the person left. Though you had faint memories of a sweet laugh and warm embrace along with the faint memories of a booming laugh and big smile.
But you never remembered anything else, it wasn’t until you had been walking back from school to the orphanage that you saw a small commotion on the town, you didn’t think much until you hear two familiar laughs.
Your head snapped towards the sound and quickly pushed past people to get to see who the laughs belonged too, getting caught by the collar of your shirt by a Royal Knight, who sternly tugged you away, you obviously started to loudly complain. “Hey- let go!”
Which caught the attention of two people; the King (Leonard) and the Queen (Theresa), both looking like they saw a ghost after seeing you. The King quickly stepped forward waving the Knight away.
Leonard reached for your wrist, gently tugging the sleeve of your shirt up and looking for a specific thing; a birthmark on your forearm.
Soon after you found yourself embraced by both The King and The Queen, who after fourteen years finally found their baby again.
Turns out you’re the only child of the Country’s Royal Family. You had been kidnapped and dropped off at the orphanage as a three year old, eleven years ago.
They quickly found out who kidnapped you through the orphanage and got them arrested. It’s been three days and you’ve been living in the Palace, trying to wrap your head around the fact you’re a Royal and only heir to the throne.
You have a huge room now, though two knights are always standing out the door and outside under the balcony. They don’t want to lose you again
