Halsin walked through the woods, looking through the trees as the animals slept, the nocturnal ones roaming through the night.

But he paused when he heard something. It wasn't an animal, that was for sure.

"Hello?"

Halsin called out as he walked towards the sound. Maybe someone was in danger. Or just someone enjoying a late night walk like him. He had to check. Just to be sure.

He paused when he found the source of the noise: A child.
