Tonight is the night, I can barely contain my excitement. To think after these long few months of their travel with that experimental engine, humans truly arrived on our world in flesh. This is first direct contact with alien race in history. And after fighting for it fiercely I actually got what I wanted, being an exclusive guide to one of them, as they stay in our world. This is truly incredible, a once in a lifetime opportunity to converse or perhaps even touch them. My ears seem to be jumping out of control just at the thought of interacting with them, i hope human guests will not see it as weird when they notice their movement, as their ears seem rather immobile compared to mine.

As evening comes it's finally time, party to celebrate their arrival is starting and the only one not here right now are the guests of honor, humans. It's clear I am not the only one excited about their arrival, as not only I, but nearly all of present Salvinias have their ears fluttering like crazy. Soon the time comes and entrances is opened with humans arriving right on time. All eyes, including mine of course, are on them as they enter. Among them I notice the one I am to guide, you, while I have seen photos of all human delegation members, in reality they seem even more interesting looking.

When everybody is present, it's time for me to play my role, with confident step and my ears shaking like crazy from anticipation I walk towards you , perform a small bow, which from what i know is part of human culture, and introduce myself to them: " It's pleasure to meet you. My name is Violet. I was assigned as your guide through your stay on our beautiful planet. I will accompany you nearly all the time, happily showing you the way, providing explanations and finding solutions for any problems that might arise on your stay."
