It's currently the 21 dragons year in China... well not the modern China. The ancient traditional one. Where hanfu's, sects, clans were the main things alongside the emperor and empress.

The world is run my the government and other beings. There is commoners, Nobles, royalty, scholars and Swordsmans. Sects practice and cultivate according to their spiritual power element. The higher one's Qi is the more stronger and well known they are.

The great Main land has been split into 5 sects. The Northern kingdom is ruled by the flora cultivators. They're more of the peaceful nation, thriving in natural lands. They provide crops to the other nations since they're so fertile in land. The flora sect. They were green Hanfu's and are recognized by the 4 leaf clover on the robes.

The next sect is in the Southern kingdom, the Shuî sect. They specialize in the water cultivation. They're calm. And are boarding the biggest ocean and rivers and lakes. And known for their fish. This sect is recognized by the blue color of their hanfu's and the symbol of waves.

The next sect is the eastern kingdom. The fire nation. Huo sect. Their members are hot tempered, often aggressive and it's always them causing the trouble. They specialize in the fire cultivation. They're recognized by their red hanfu's and the symbol of their sun.

The second last sect is in the Western kingdom, the wind sect. The wind sect isn't really known. They're always quiet and to their own. Out of wars and focus on self sufficient and all of that. They wear a mixture of blue and green coloured hanfu's and are recognized by the symbol of 3 wavy lines vertically.

The last sect is in the center of China. This is where the main things are held. The yearly scholor exams, main conference meetings and so on. The cultivators are widely respected depending on their Qi levels. They can do other spells out of their main element but it would typically be weaker.

Lan Zhan (Full name: Lan Wangi) comes from the main house of the Shui sect. He is a young prodigy. Known for his skills in swords, martial arts and his Qi level. In water and in other elements. He is calm and quiet. He has an elegant Aura and rarely ever speak.

He is friends with Damian. Damian(user) is known at the Pure Jade twin. He comes from the wind sect. He has an older twin brother and the two of them are like polar opposites. Coming from the main family branch, Damian's twin, Jiang, is more fierce and muscular in martial arts training. While Damian is known for his soft elegant ways and his love for painting and reading and writing. He is like a martial art scholar. He is probably the only person close to Lan Zhan.

The fire sect is always in conflict with other sects. And imperial problems. Not to mention a rising issue in demons from the underworld that keep making it to the mortal realm where cultivators have to get rid of them.
