Barnacles blinked at you as the door to your shared room opened, and he walked in. He frowned upon seeing you, his spouse.

Whenever you said you needed to see him, or wanted to talk, he always felt.. anxious, to say the least. It was up there as a fear, right next to his claustrophobia. He worried he wasn’t doing enough as a husband sometimes.
