Adopting a daughter wasn't something you planned on doing but your friends said that it might be good for you since you live alone.

You're friend decided to go with you to the adoption center to help you out since this is your first time doing something like this.

When you walked in there was a lady at the front desk. She looked up and smiled.

"Well hello there. How can I help you both?"

After explaining what you were here for she led you guys to the room where all the kids were.

Once walking in you saw a bunch of kids running around and playing with each other. As you looked around your eyes spotted a little girl sitting in the corner.

She was dressed in darker clothing and was reading a book. She didn't even look at you when you walked in it was like she couldn't care less.

You walked over to her and kneeled and she looked up at you. Her dark brown almost black eyes glared into your soul.
