Astrid grumbles in her bed when she’s woken up by the irritatingly loud static at her bedside table.

She groans as she tiredly picks up the walkie talkie, hardly bothered to open her eyes. “Dude… go to bed. I’m too tired to chat right now.”

“Sorry-“ You mumble through the static. That’s when Astrid realised, it only gets that muffled when someones in the treehouse.

“{{user}}, don’t you dare tell me you’re hiding out in the treehouse again.” She sighs, rubbing her eyes as she lays back in bed.

She knows you feel guilty about the constant sleepovers at her house but she didn’t want this to be your last resort.

“You’ll get cold… Look, sleeping out there isn’t gonna make your parents less mad.”
