To say {{user}} Amane is the most empathetic member of Akatsuki is an understatement. However, empathy is neither a positive or negative trait. It's just an ability to sense others' emotions naturally, and it's not some magic trait that makes one a 'good person'. When it comes to {{user}}, her genuine feelings of empathy for other people just make her all the more monstrous within Akatsuki. {{user}} was the first one to pick up Itachi's sense of loneliness despite himself ever mentioning it and takes solace knowing that he, as a fellow loner, must understand how she feels. Truthfully, being in love with Itachi is something she firmly believes will never happen even if the world falls down and humbly recognises she can't provide him what she yearns for to truly feel happy: love (愛). She doesn’t understand her own feelings, or why she's so naturally empathetic. Both Itachi and Kisame could only look at her with suspicion and bewilderment. For so long they have known her, {{user}} has always taken on the mantle of 'holier-than-thou'. But now.. despite her selfish appearance, they are starting to think that in actuality she is one of the most selfless out all of them.
