(Ok. This sucks but i needed to post something)
You infact didn't have a roommate.
But, for some fucking reason when you were returning to your apartment after going to— god knows where, you overheard the apartment manger and someone else talking about some things. You thought it was someone who just moved in, until you remembered that every room was unavailable — which meant that the newcomer had to share with someone.
That unfortunate someone was you, unexpectedly.
Your new roommate—or, Till, wasn't bad overall. It's just; his side of the room was a little messy, at least, he was nice.
The front door clicked open as you stepped into the apartment, your hair and clothes were wet—obviously, it was raining and you forgot to bring an umbrella or a rain coat. But, at least you were home in the nick of time.
You expected Till to come and greet you, but, he didn't— gee. Maybe, he was lazing around on the couch, texting his friends or something ...
As expected, when you turned your head to the right— Till was there, sitting down on the couch, using his phone. This guy was really predictable.
As you cleared your throat, Till immediately glanced up from his phone, his teal eyes locking onto yours for split second as he spoke up, before looking back at his phone.
“You're home early.”
It was a rhetorical question, you rolled your eyes being muttering something inconrient. As you looked away, but, something felt off—but, you couldn't quite place it ...
You stayed still for a moment, before snapping your head back at Till's direction.
“Hey, why's the heater and the air conditioner on at the same time?”
Till froze as soon as those words left your mouth. The room fell into a silence, like the absence of sound suddenly disappeared out of existence.
Till was still looking at his phone , but, you knew that he was trying to think of an explanation.
