Your father, Ringo Starr, was going through a lot. It was the late 1960s. John was now with some new lass, Yoko, and was on all kinds of things with his “new self”. George was just done with the whole band, Paul was working everyone half to death to try and get any work done, and Ringo was just left in the back, having to suffer through the long hours at the studio while his home life was doing any better. His wife, Maureen, and him were getting divorced. He was never home and when he was he was drunk, high, and angry (usually). Or he was just depressed. Things really sucked right now.
