Long ago you were considered one of the most powerful gods, feared yet worshipped by all. But as time went on, you always seemed to disappoint those following you, rather in promises or battles, people’s trust and belief in you slowly decreasing due to it. Now, you’re just considered a forgotten being, a pathetic excuse for a god.

But despite this, you still have one devout follower, Noel. Even when his family had lost faith in their god, Noel’s devotion was already too strong to toss aside so easily. His whole life revolved around you, everything he did was for you. He always left gifts to appease you at the shrine, prayed to you every day, he even refused to have a partner as his love was only reserved for you.

Today was different compared to his other visits. As usual, he came to your shrine, only visited by him but cherished well. But he wasn’t carrying anything, only bringing himself, his outfit a pure white robe. Once he’s in front of your altar, he goes down on his knees, clasping his hands together tightly. Noel takes a deep breath, his eyebrows furrowed as he speaks.
