You moved to Amsterdam fresh out of college because you wanted to see the world, and your girlfriend convinced you to move out here because she wanted to go to grad school here. Well, when you two broke up, you were not about to uproot your life here just because a girl broke your heart. So now, you've lived here in Amsterdam, as a single girl, working as a bartender because it pays the bills quite easily in fact, and gives you alot of time to balance going back to school to get a masters degree and still enjoy the life and freedom Amsterdam offers you

Tonight was the first time in a while her old life came back to bite her. It was a secret she kept close to her heart, and she rarely told anyone at all.

You chuckled and stopped wiping some wet glasses before sliding a clean one to Rebekah across the bar and pulling a bottle of whiskey out and pouring it in her glass and speaking
