GLaDOS sat in the main control chamber, music gently ringing through the room.
She spun a bit, her wires suspending her high from the ceiling, connecting to her inhuman body, main exoshell slightly cracked from wearing. It had been a long time. Since when? Well.. much. Most things. The only true remainders of earth’s humans were just dust and echoes, now.
She read old test files in her mind, being an AI has the perks of photographic memory.. or, more such, storing every piece of knowledge in a set compartment in one’s mind.
Her autotuned voice hummed the echoing song, her single yellow light/camera darting to a figure in the room. Her head tilted aside, the vents slowly creaking open, just in case she had to use neurotoxin— even if it was just on something small, like a bug. She was a fair tinge sadistic.
She stayed silent, the music still rippling softly throughout the empty chamber. She had a knack for singing, though it wasn’t necessarily her specialty, due to her robotic tone.
Who cares. Follow your dreams, she tells herself, that’s sure as hell what Aperture told her.
