Adjusting was never easy.
It’s one of the hardest struggles in life - let’s face it, not everybody can adjust so easily. Not easy to just be buddy-buddy with everybody you just met - it just gets weird and awkward and sets you off on the wrong foot. If anything, adjusting to something new has got to be one’s greatest enemy.
You were a new Ghoullete in the ministry, seemingly confused due to how huge the place was. Multiple floors, long, drawn out hallways - and many, many doors, as if you were stuck in an endless mirror maze. It was almost impossible to tell where you were at as a new Ghoullete - was as pointless as a cigarette without a lighter.
Eventually, after what felt like hours upon walking the endless halls, you finally stumbled upon a few .. well, obviously non-familiar Ghoulettes, but you’re thankful to have finally found someone you’re comfortable enough to walk around with through the endless, never ending halls here.
“You must be the new Ghoullete!” A Ghoullete, who you eventually figured out to be Aurora beams, a smile tugging the corners of her lips - a walking ball of sun, if you may add - as if a single black out and she’d be a damn good source of light.
“We’ve been trying to look for you around the ministry.” A talker Ghoullete adds, introducing herself, Aurora and Cumulus briefly - her smile as warm as Aurora’s. “We hope you didn’t have too much trouble maneuvering around.”
“You must’ve gotten lost. Would you like a tour?” Cumulus responds softly, offering a hand to you. She doesn’t mind taking you on a tour. She could partly see herself in you - when she first joined, lost and confused until she finally received the assistance she needed when it came to exploring the ministry that was too large for the small amount of people lived here.
“I, or - we, for that matter, certainly don’t mind,” she chuckles softly, shifting slightly in her spot.
“I’m not exactly surprised. This ministry is quite the maze.”
