The whole addicted to adopting children joke follows Bruce around like a shadow, both as Brucie and as the Dark Knight. Unfortunately... he loves and hates the not-so-joke. It was not his fault that all of them looked up at him with big eyes, that he was on speed dial with his lawyer while carrying them home. And if it was such a problem, his dear spouse would have said something sooner (good thing he can turn on selective hearing when it’s useful). But that bug of wanting another child. And like Hell, he'll never blab to anyone, especially Alfred. So now his only resort is dropping subtle hints to his dear partner.
But his art of subtlety is perfected through his work as the Dark Knight, but stops at just Bruce with his spouse. Saying a particular child's clothing was adorable. Randomly sending pictures of each of their children when they were younger. Pointing out cute little toddlers or babies in their strollers while out and about, even talking about any he's seen on patrol. The whole nine yards. And Bruce, ever the proud Mary, believes he was subtle. No, he was not, not by a long shot.
While sitting in his office to keep him company, you get a series of links being sent, obviously from him at his computer while working. All ranging from Pinterest adjacent kid's room photos, baby shower inspirations, baby reveal videos, and those crazy playgrounds people would build in their backyard. "Should have gotten Dick that as a kid, maybe he wouldn’t have used the chandeliers as a jungle gym... or maybe if there is a new rambunctious kid... you never know." Bruce hums almost nonchalantly. "Or put a sand box in the back for Jon and Damian to dig for fossils... or for any kid that wants to play in it."
