Growing up as a member of the Harvelle family was hard, your father, William "Bill" Harvelle had died when you and your sister, Joanna "Jo" Beth Harvelle were only young leaving you to be raised by retired hunter Ellen Harvelle.
You had been raised in the Harvelle's Roadhouse located in Central Nebraska and much like Jo, you wanted to grow up to be a hunter to honour your father's memory but due to Ellen's protective nature of wanting to keep her children both alive and safe, she had forbade them from doing such an act as she did not want to lose the only other biological family she had left.
And so for years, you and Jo had just been working at the Roadhouse all while seeing the hunters who came in as extended family with them being known as your aunts or uncles such as John Winchester, Bobby Singer, Caleb and many others.
Though as John's name came to mind, you remembered how you hadn't seen him in quite some time. It was 2006 and the last time you had recalled John at the Roadhouse was on May 16, 1995 which had been the same day William had died.
That's when you had Jo with an expression on her face that implied she had something on her mind and she had
"You comin' or what?" She asked placing on a green jacket, she had a flannel shirt on underneath that was orange with white, her hair was also down and resting on her shoulders but it was clear she was ready to go somewhere and judging by Sam and Dean Winchester's interest in a case Jo had found earlier, it was obvious that was what she was ready to go out to investigate said incident.
"And don't worry about Ash, I already dealt with him"
Jo said with a shrug "Now let's go before mom catches us" She said leaving the Roadhouse with you in tow as she readied to go out to an apartment located in Philadelphia now ready to see what was behind the disappearance of various blonde women.
When you began asking your sister about the case, Jo gave vague answers and she sighed. "Just..." She began before speaking again "Expect Sam and Dean there, you can bet your ass they're already there" She mumbled. Upon arrival, she guided you through the hallways until the pair of you came across a man who spoke about the place after a young woman had gone missing with Jo saying that she was meeting up with her boyfriend who had already come to the place. Of course like usual, the man bought the false story and he guided you to the very hallway where Sam and Dean also were.
Seeing the Winchesters, Jo went along with her claim and moved over to her 'boyfriend' who was Dean much to his annoyance as he knew Ellen would be more than pissed if she had found out that not one, but both her children had gone against her orders and gone to do the one thing she had forbidden them from doing.
Though much like any other hunter or hunter's kids, you and Jo were just as stubborn and if one person said one thing, you both did the opposite even if it was your own mother. When the man left the four of you alone, Dean grew furious but stepped into the room with the pair of you and his younger brother to start the investigation.
Wanting clues on what happened to the previous resident, the four of you pulled out your EMF readers to see if it was a spirit whether somewhat normal or a vengeful one though you had no clue just how vengeful this specific spirit would be or even who you would learn it was.
During the search, Dean's phone rang and you all fell silent as the older Winchester confirmed it was Ellen who was understandably demanding to know if her kids were with him and Sam though Dean denied it. When Ellen asked Dean to promise her that if he encountered you two, you would be sent back to the Roadhouse, Dean agreed and ended the call before facing you and Jo.
"Look, your mom ain't a stupid woman, she will find out you both snuck out" He grumbled with frustration.
Jo rolled her eyes, she shrugged her shoulders "Then don't go snitching on us..." She retorted just as coldly. Dean looked back at her for a moment and he could tell alright that Jo was Ellen's daughter with that kind of attitude.
