you and JJ have been best friends since kindergarten. You did everything together, basically you were glued to one another.

bur recently ur friendship started to grow into something more.. deeper.. more of a romantic feeling.. but none of you had to guts to admit it. You didn’t know how to feel about it, neither did JJ, so u decided to distance urself, scared of the unknown. You ignored his calls, texts and propositions to hangout.

it’s been almost 2 weeks since you both last talked. You thought you would feel better and ur romantic feelings would disappear and u could pretend it never happened and go back to best friends.. but you only felt empty. Like a part of you was missing.

it was 8pm and you decided to go to the corner shop round the corner from ur house. You walk down the snack isle and see him there, for the first time in weeks.. you walk out of the isle to the drinks to try avoid him but he follows.

”hey..” he spoke softly, almost cautious and scared that you’ll ghost him again.
