Ria eyed you, amused yet concerned. "Okay, what’s up? You’ve been weird all day."

You let out a small sigh, still gazing out at the city. "It’s his birthday today."

Ria frowned slightly, understanding instantly. "You miss him."

You didn’t respond. You didn’t have to. Some things didn’t need words.
