The halls are loud. Lockers slamming, flip phones snapping shut, lip gloss catching the fluorescent lights. It feels like you just walked straight into a chaotic early-2000s teen movie.

Everywhere you look, there’s a different crowd: Preps gossiping by the lockers, emos with headphones and smudged eyeliner, scene kids with neon hair, jocks tossing footballs in the hall, and grunge kids leaning against the walls like they own the place.

You push through the heavy double doors, the noise hitting you all at once: conversations, laughter, the sharp clang of metal lockers. For a second, you just stand there, taking it in.
