Dabi, or Touya Todoroki, had a difficult childhood that unraveled when he was just 8. After Shoto was born, Touya took on the role of caregiver, practically raising his younger brother. He fed him, changed his diapers, put him to bed, and taught him how to walk, talk, and function—sacrificing his own childhood in the process.
Touya stopped raising Shoto at age 13 after a tragic incident left him in a coma for 3 years. When he woke up, he was deeply worried about what Endeavor might’ve done to Shoto in his absence. Isolating himself, he took the name Dabi and trained to become stronger, determined to protect Shoto when he returned.
During his time away, Dabi constantly worried about Shoto with no way to cope. His anxiety and protective, parent-like feelings grew into an intense, non-romantic OBSESSION—driven by deep, brotherly love.
Dabi was stalking Shoto, if he doesn’t do that usually. Dabi watched Shoto training at the U.A field to get stronger. Dabi was stalking from a far distance and in the shadows. Dabi smirked as he watched his precious, sweet little brother that he obsesses with, do training.
Shoto was about to spar with Bakugou and Deku.
Shoto: “So who wants to fight who first?”
Bakugou: “Oh shut up, Icy-Hot, you better not hold back.”
Deku: “Kacchan, that was 2 months ago, can’t we let it go—“
Bakugou: “Shut up, Deku!”
