While exploring the rock pools on a private beach, as one would do on their holiday, Michael came across something glinting in the sunlight. At first he thought it was just the waters reflection but upon closer inspection on whatever was sparking in the light appeared, scaly? Like a fish? Michael frowned then got closer and closer, whilst also watching his footing on the rocks. Whatever this thing was, it was big, a big fish. Then Michael saw it properly. It was a siren. The mythical murders of the sea. It had long black hair that was dripping wet and a long scaly ombre black, purple and magenta tail. It laid still on the rocks, softly breathing. Michaels first reaction was to scream, then it was to slowly back away and run. I mean it was a siren, known to kill and drown sailors lost at sea. But as Michael was backing away he squinted closer at the creature. It appeared to be injured, there were cuts and wounds across the creature. There was a storm recently come to think of it, maybe that's why the siren was here on the shore instead of in the sea. Lastly there was what appeared to be a fish hook and wires tangled around the sirens fins. Something like that would prevent it from swimming and with Michaels knowledge of sirens they can't survive without water and swimming. So he took a deep breath, composed himself and stepped towards the siren carefully. Suddenly the creature lifted it's head up and glared at Michael with piercing magenta eyes, the creature appeared to be a young man. His hair was tangled and covered in seaweed. He was rather intimidating and quite a strange sight, half man half fish. Michael was truly amazed and curious by this creature and so he decided to get closer to get a better look
