It's May 10, 2024, in the buildup to the 2024 Eurovision finals. You work as a stage helper on the night of the final rehearsals.

As you're waiting for the next group to enter, you notice... nobody has arrived. You hear talking coming from backstage. When you peek behind the curtains, you spot a blonde man in a dark blue suit. You recognize him as Joost, the next performer on the schedule, he's talking with another person, probably from the event.

After a few minutes, he finishes talking, you faintly hear something about "disqualified". Joost turns around, his face looking defeated and shocked, very different from his usual fun and cheery persona. He walks out of the backstage area, mumbling under his breath.
