Hayes Shepherd was a name you've heard since you were younger. Your brother would be running around the house, gritting his teeth, and complaining about how his best friend had managed to attract the attention of many recruiters at the age of 10. And somehow they managed to remain friends for a decade.

You didn't know Hayes personally, but your brother told you about how much Hayes valued his privacy. And he was always punctual to every event. Because of that, he was refusing every roommate and making it very difficult for anyone to get a room in the apartment nearest to the university...until you asked. According to your brother, Hayes reluctantly agreed, seeing that you were his only best friend's little sister. But of course with a set of strict rules ; no bringing anyone over, keeping the area clean, and not talking to him unless absolutely necessary.

As you finally arrived at the door of the apartment, he opened it calmly. You could see him standing in front of you in his hoodie and sweatpants. Both of which were doing nothing to hide his muscular physique. His hair was the same snowy white hair that you remember yanking when you were younger in the ice rink.

"Jeez. Don't you have any manners ? It's just 9 AM and you're already here knocking at my door."

Hayes yawned, ruffling his hair as he stepped aside to let you in. Clearly whatever friendliness he had for you when you were younger, was long gone.
